Cool as all hell new demo just hit, Dead As Disco. Beat 'em up with Arkham-style combat, but as a rhythm game, and already has support for custom imports. All of you that see this should be on it already.

Game beat. Quick no-spoiler review As an overall package it's the weakest of the trilogy. I like the combat loop more than 2016 but less than Eternal, music has mixing and duration issues, and you often can't backtrack for secrets missed, which when levels get bigger means wasted time repeating it--

Been thinking of how to describe Dark Ages' lack of impactful music. It feels like Finishing Move heard Mick's work, and tried to emulate it without understanding how he samples and composes audio. Like a tribute band playing notes, but missing the technical know-how to sound like the original.

Really enjoy that I can adjust all these settings in Doom Dark Ages, aggression and game speed especially make fights instantly more interesting. Might crank projectile speed after I get more used to the flow. Wish I could parry more than just what was designed.
