Over the past four months, I have sat down to start writing a new blog post at least 10 times. I have many topics that I would like to cover. Currently, Fabric Link requires approximately 6M21S87MS to register new data in Dataverse. This is much better than it was, but it creates enough time to load non-actual or non-reliable data into your structures. Come to my session at @sqlbits.bsky.social to learn how to solve it.

I have needed 15s to loop through every single Workspace (63) in our tenant that contains a Workspace APP and extract all details (including App Audiences and mapping internal IDs to GUIDs). That's why I like Python... you are almost limitless. #MicrosoftFabric

I have written a script that went through all our Lakehouses, Warehouses, and Semantic models, extracted all tables, and counted all rows, to find out what we are internally doing with our F4 capacity. This script changed our standard 24% of background operations to 82%

It's somewhat interesting how many backend items are still retained in your workspaces for months (or even years) and are never deleted, such as "DataflowsStagingLakehouse," as a residue from the initial Public Preview of #MicrosoftFabric. This workspace doesn't have any Dataflows...

I am not exactly satisfied with the current "notification" options about changes in #MicrosoftFabric tenant settings. So I have tried to create it quickly by myself... Besides this card, I also added tracking of changes and a few more tweaks, but only for Admins.

After four hours finding out why terminal in VS Code is crashing I have found out, that MAC patched version of Ruby so everything collapsed 🤣. Nice… everything has been rebuild and I am just missing extensions for VS Code because I have tried even hard reset of the app… 🤣 what a Monday

This is just an example. Finally, I can fully use adaptive cards in cooperation with Microsoft Fabric without logic apps and MS Automate. 😍 Now I will try to render visuals inside them and then... new unlimited options for bringing data closer to people in their natural tools. #MicrosoftFabric

Hmm, I am unsure if I have seen a guide or article with a Fabric capacity that pauses and resumes at once, where one is implemented by a Python notebook and the other by Azure Automation. I have implemented this a few times and would like to know if it is helpful for someone else.
