It seems like after 13 years my trusty KRK rokit 5 g2 are finally on their last legs. The right monitor keeps losing the low end occasionally throughout the day. Probably a dying capacitor. Definitely not something I wanted to spend money on before getting a new studio setup, oh well :/

Damn, just heard that Tomas Lindberg of At The Gates has passed away. They were a big part of the sound of my youth and I had an absolute blast when I saw them live about ten years ago at Graspop. RIP to one of the greats!

Sometimes I wonder how I finish creative projects when I work as structured as a roomba. Oh, how about we sound design some magic sounds now? Five minutes later: let's write a post-punk track! Another five minutes later, you know what: let's finish this techno track first. If it works, it works...
