Anhinga (Anhinga anhinga) drying its wings while bobbing on a mat of aquatic plants (probably invasive water hyacinth). Also known as a snake bird for their long thin necks, they have swapped out oily feathers, decreasing buoyancy so they can dive deeper and longer. But gotta dry them out to fly.
