NEW: Our team is on the ground working with National Mill Dog Rescue and Bissell Pet Foundation to move 200+ dogs and puppies to a new life. We’re helping get these pups ready to go to shelters and rescues all over the country, where they can find homes. 27 are coming here to the MSPCA-Angell 1/

This stray cat had quite the eventful evening & we’re hoping to reunite him with his family. Last night, one of our employees saw him darting under cars in the parking lot. When she checked to see if the kitty was hurt, he jumped in a car’s engine bay–a dangerous but common spot for cats to hide 1/

"Golden Retrievers are a highly sought-after breed, so it's abnormal that a bunch were found sick and alone outside like this," the MSPCA's Mike Keiley said in a statement. "No one has stepped forward to claim the dogs, so considering all of the circumstances, we believe they were abandoned."

NEW: These poor pups were among 17 found abandoned on a busy street in South Carolina. They were thin and had fleas. Many also had lost hair and had skin disease. Our friends at Charleston Animal Society cared for them, but they were dealing with capacity problems and needed space 1/
