My old art teacher taught me to turn my artwork upside down if I was beginning to feel it looked bad. I’ve adopted this technique with my cosplay. Switch perspective, come back in and hour, don’t let your tired eyes and frustration cloud your vision.

Just read an account of a trans masc person at SacAnime who was told to cover up his chest despite cis men being allowed to be fully shirtless. This is not okay. Gonna write something longer later but jfc… cons need to adopt trans-inclusive training for all staff cause this happens too much.
