One thing that I always find uncanny when watching 7th Doctor stuff set in the present is how close and modern the fashion seems to be to now. Compared to, say, the hang glider collars and cord flares of the seventies.

Decided to buy some more underwear as realised when selecting underwear to wear I’d been preferencing the new ones over the old.

Something I kinda; miss having a black dual cab. Because you’re basically invisible / forgettable. You just fade into the background morass of dual cabs. An orange one a lot less so.

The acting “Come, Let’s Away” of Star Trek Academy was phenomenal this week. The effects and sets worked really well. And *loved* a cadet having a realistic response to the situation.

I did not expect E5 Series Acclimation Mil of Starfleet Academy to go where it went. It started in a very new style, but really delved into the diversity, the majestic brilliance that is Star Trek.

This is a tarragon, garlic and lemon butter. It’ll be chilled down a bit and added to salmon fillets and baked in foil. Served with herby roast potatoes, roasted pumpkin, steamed broccoli and steamed carrots (both in the microwave).

I admit I have thought about visiting this place. Although I wouldn’t be driving through. I’d be donning the full protective suit, respirator and changing on a tarp, and wrapping it all up in wrapped plastic once done. But the dangers are too high for me, it’s not as though you can detect asbestos.

Bought some Tradie brand underwear, as my go-to for a number of years Under Armour (cotton 6” boxer briefs) is always out of stock. Tradie are comfortable, Australian owned. And come in an array of interesting colours! Also cheaper. And supporting an Australian company is better than a US one.

I know why our brains remember the awful, the trauma, the bad. That’s what you learn from. No lessons from good things. But, some (a lot) of the time I just wish I had an edit/delete button for some of those memories.
