I've just been reminded that monday and tuesday are national holidays. If the repairs aren't finished by tomorrow (which they likely wont be) I will be left computerless for four days. Sigh.

Turns out backing up your entire computer is kind of a huge ordeal and now I don't know if I'll make it to the repair shop on time, HOPEFULLY i will. But at this point I don't want to be too optemistic about it.

In other news I'm slowly inching towards starting* that behemoth project that I've been dying to sink my teeth into for years now. A Scheme™ is taking proper shape, and after some test-runs, I think I'm gonna be ready for whatever the road ahead throws at me. It sounds insane.

Update, redid the model from scratch and it Does look better but I am forever afraid that I'm gonna move or modify one of these edges and the entire model is gonna collapse. I don't know how realistic of a fear that is but I've no sense of the correct course of action in 3d modeling so.
