I’m curious to see what we’ll come out of this. I doubt he’ll be able to do his own movie but maybe not the can get new Roger Rabbit books.

What an amazing time to be an Alien and Predator fan

Hot damn this really over performed. I’m hoping the strong word of mouth can give it really good legs in its run.

My ranking of the Predator franchise

Finished Predator: Badlands. This has become my favorite film in the franchise. It flips the format of a Predator movie on its head and takes it on an action sci-fi direction that maintains the brands edge. Dan Trachtenberg has made his most ambitious movie yet and it paid off. 9.5/10

The creative team being put together here is really encouraging.

Following this story makes for a really good incentive to rewatch Succession

Love all of them but this feels like a waste of time to be campaigning for these nominations.

Watched the original Predator for the first time to get ready for Badlands. Not bad. Not bad.

That’s shorter break than the Spider-Verse films and Disney and Pixar films. Not 100% sure it they can stick to that window but I’m excited nonetheless.

This did not age well

Finished Rise of the Guardians. A severely underrated film. The world building is awesome, the action sequences are dynamic, and the voice cast is something truly special. It’s a lot of fun whilst also carrying a lot of emotional weight. 9/10

Been enjoying It: Welcome to Derry so much that I’ve become more ok with Andy Muschietti directing another DC movie.

Apparently they’re aiming to release the Conjuring prequel movie on September 2027

I’m excited about this idea. I unabashedly love this franchise despite so much of it being middling.

With the return in investment that they did get it definitely made sense why they pulled out. It’s easy to blame Disney for a lot of things nowadays but I really do think this is on the fail of RTD & Bad Wolf for not putting there best foot forward and making it accessible to new audiences.

I hope the show can continue this momentum with the new episode dropping tomorrow for Halloween. This also bodes well for the three season plan with Welcome to Derry.

Since Chris Stuckmann no longer wants to review movies he thinks are bad I guess thumbnails like this are out of the table.

I REALLY disliked the idea of Jeremy Strong playing Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network sequel. It after some time and seeing his recent look for the movie I’m becoming more on board with the idea.

One of my most anticipated movies of next year. A lot of this movie aid apparently derived from Philippine mythology so I’m glad there’s at least a decent number of Filipino’s in the cast.

Look, I’ll continue to still be interested in the show but I really feel like the show isn’t gonna improve unless Russell T Davies steps back. Which is not something I was expecting to say 4 years ago.

Finished watching Corpse Bride. Short but quite sweet. One of Tim Burton’s strongest ventures. Dazzling stop-motion and aesthetically it’s incredible with a really compelling story that hooks you more and more as it goes along. 9.5/10

Props to Clara Stack who’s doing a lot of the heavy lifting with the younger cast in It- Welcome To Derry. A long ways off from being young Kate Bishop in Hawkeye.

Glad HBO is being smart by dropping the second episode of It- Welcome To Derry on Halloween. We’ll basically be getting a whole new It movie.

Leroy Hanlon must be headed to some rough times in the It series if he’s suppose to end ip like he does in the movie.

I hope that all the turtles in It- Welcome To Derry aren’t just references and that Maturin actually shows up in the series. They’re already doing some silly stuff in the show so I say don’t be cowards and do it!

I got a similar one experience of watching It- Welcome to Derry as I did watching The Boys and Invincible for the first time. But instead of superheroes it’s kids being terrorized.

I was not expecting where they would take It- Welcome To Derry by the end.
