Finished the Ao Shin's Ascent mode in TFT. Cool mode, definitely rogue-lite. Becomes kind of boring later one when you finish up the Journey Track because everything becomes easy, but that sort of tracks. A good chunk of time, maybe 15-20 hours to finish. I enjoyed it, scratched TFT/roguelite itch.

Just finished reading The Trouble with Heroes by Kate Messner for my Young Adult Literature class. Easily one of my favorite books of all time. The journey of reparation, self discovery, and grief had me so incredibly emotional. So many chapters I couldn't stop the tears from flowing. Amazing read.

Just finished reading The Kill Factor by Ben Oliver for my Young Adult Literature course. The characters and the world felt very alive. It felt like each scene naturally flowed to the next, as if I was peering into book's scenario.

Honkai Star Rail's story never fails to impress. 3.5 was phenomenal, especially the beginning.

I just beat Arbiter of Ash in Path of Exile 2! Then the server went down for maintenance the *right as I killed him*. I lost all my loot and fragments!! Yipppeee!!!

I just finished reading the final volume of Babel by Kuji Furumiya. The final volume was wonderful and I couldn't stop reading. It's so good at keeping you constantly hooked on the next sentence. I loved the final decisions made by Shizuku and the ending of the series. Highly recommend.

knockdowns in Wuchang need to not completely deprive you of the ability to play the game

just gonna bitch for a second here. Wuchang has really frustrating boss fights, in that there are no windows to heal safely because the fucking heal animation takes LITERALLY 5 seconds. some of these fights are so fast and the bosses have so little downtime that you're just fucked the after one hit

this Commander Honglan fight in Wuchang is not very fair

man all this negative discourse about Wuchang on Steam is just so pathetic. the game isn't terrible, the devs are obviously trying to make a good game, yet optimization issues based around the "recommended specs" makes people unreasonably angry and hateful. just give the devs time
