Yawn —! It's getting close to sunrise, isn't it?

"Me too." Had she ever told him about her aunt? She didn't think so. "Any other family members I should know about?"

"Well, I've never had a grandma. Human or vampire. I don't know what to expect from 'em! But you know I've always wanted to find other vampires."

"You don't talk much about your human life." She said, simply. Claudia didn't have much of a human life herself. Tragedy after tragedy until it ended in a fire - and then she woke up to a new life. "That was, what, a hundred years ago?"

"Shut up. You are not!" Shimmying down the statue, she got about halfway before she jumped. Landing on her feet easily. "Afraid of heights? The Vampire Lestat?"

"Hm." Putting on the necklace, she nodded in approval. "Thank you. It's nice."

With a groan, she stood up. Debating if she's going to climb down (like how she got up) or if she wanted to jump. "You're ridiculous! We're immortal!"

She stared at him for a while longer, but then she snatched the necklace from him and marched right over to the mirror to see what it would look like on her. Like always. "Thought we weren't supposed to take souvenirs." Her tone is playful now.

"Just come up here with me! The view's great!"

"You stay up in the day?" Her arms crossed over her chest. "C'mon. Louis' not here, you can be honest."

Stares blankly. ". . . Nobody had to say it, it's kinda obvious."

"I'm good up here, thanks!"

Emerging from her coffin with a yawn. It's always an adjustment, switching to her fall sleep schedule.

Trying to clean blood from under her nails, nose scrunched up in frustration. She should really just paint them red and call it a day.

She's climbed up onto a statue. She likes being up high. It feels freeing.

The sun is still up for at least another two hours and yet Claudia is awake. Pacing like a caged animal.

Sitting on the grass, enjoying the night air while writing in her diary.

Giggling. Her meal for the night had been high on something. Luckily, she'd managed to clean up before it kicked in.

Painting her nails. She's chosen a nice, understated shade of purple.

Sorting through a bunch of rings that she 'borrowed' off of her breakfast. She likes jewelry and they didn't need it anymore.

She's awake. Sunset's early today, isn't it?

She's hungry. She's 𝘚𝘖 𝘏𝘜𝘕𝘎𝘙𝘠!

Laying awake in her coffin, scribbling in her diary.

Humming as she walks home, wiping blood from her mouth. She's a messy eater.

Laying on her back, watching the stars. They're beautiful. One of the good things about being nocturnal is this; getting to see the stars.

Sitting on a park bench, writing in her diary.

Wandering the streets, debating the merits of throwing a rock through a shop window and grabbing herself some new clothes. She's fast. And it would be nice to have some new things.

Sipping blood from a wine glass.

She's sitting on the sidewalk, watching a cat pace back and forth. It occasionally nuzzles against her. "Y'should get out of here, little guy. My brother might get hungry."

Fresh from a hunt and in a good mood, humming as she window shops. Not many stores are open. But she figured that she deserved something nice.

Laying in her coffin with the lid open, smoking a cigarette. The sun will still be in the sky for a few hours. Summer is the *worst.*

The sun is up, but she still can't sleep. So here she is: glaring at the lid of her coffin as if it is responsible for all of her woes.
