Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns have maybe the worst offense I’ve seen in all of college basketball this season. Yet to crack 67 in a game, held to 18 in the first half tonight against Jackson State, a sub-300 defensive team on Kenpom. Kind of obsessed with how lifeless they are.

Third consecutive game falling flat offensively in the second half and not having a defense capable of staving off a comeback during those droughts. Neither Syracuse nor Notre Dame are good. Worrisome!

I will reserve judgment because of how last season went, but I’m not sold on this Houston team. Very disconcerting how they have been unable to lock down games against inferior opponents in Auburn and Syracuse like previous Kelvin teams.

A Saint Mary's team with this potent of an offense is a total game changer. If you sort the data on Bart Torvik starting at the beginning of the season, the best two teams in the country are Gonzaga and Saint Mary's.

I hope this season doesn't get off the rails because if this goes south I don't think Pope has the disposition to adequately handle the toxic fan base and the pressure. Hope I'm wrong!

Just looked: UT Martin has moved to 234 on Kenpom, a jump of 94(!) spots since the season began. That’s a huge improvement in 3 games, only 2 of which were against D-I opponents.

Pretty amazing run of games there for Nevada: Avoids a bad home loss to Pacific after the Tigers whiff on the last-second put-back and prevailing tonight in overtime after hitting a late three to send it to extra time.

UT Martin is putting together a pretty cool resume. Skyhawks are now 3-0 with road wins over UNLV and Bradley. So eager to see how they fare against that fast paced FSU team next week.
