Taken last night. it is rare to find 19th century ruins in a big city but that's exactly what this is. On east 12th Avenue in #Calgary are remnants of the city's first major #hospital, built in 1899. Last Sunday I shot a #photo of two #American #White #Pelicans in flight. Note the long, stiff, symmetrically paired black feathers on the wings or tail of the #birds, almost invisible when a pelican is on land or in the water.
