Beuin gave this tape to my sister when she was little. It was a white tape & the spindles were purple because one of us pushed Play-Do through it… likely me. We loved these songs with “Going to the Zoo” and “The Marvelous Toy” being my favorites. She shared a lot of music with me that I still love.

Weirdo alert

While I hadn’t seen a Broadway show yet, my Dad & Pam took me to see my first touring show. We had just done A Chorus Line as our halftime show in marching band. I still think this is one of a handful of perfect musicals. Celebrating Dad today, we will miss him so. Glad to have wonderful memories.

The Juice is loose. Juice Newton was a juggernaut in the 80s with hits on the Adult Contemporary, Country and Pop charts. This album, Quiet Lies, has my favorite of her songs, a cover of Brenda Lee’s “Break It To Me Gently,” which won Juice a Grammy. #vinylcommunity #vinylnerd #nowspinning
