For those who want to learn reading sheet music: Yesterday I was at the school where I teach, and again played a vista from a Chopin collection. Reaching a level where you can just ”feel” a piece by reading (slow tempo, not well-played) is enough. It is inspiring, and will make you happy ❤️

I’ve reflected on the art of being present in the moment When I do things I usually have a goal (e.g. taking the bus to a place). I know it’s noisy, but a few days ago I just really HEARD the noise. Instead of filtering, I took it all in I usually focus on where I am going, not where I actually am

At the school where I teach composition they have (among other things) a book with Chopin sheet music I played the two first pieces (slooow) a vista, getting more in touch with his music I’m grateful to be able to read sheet music, and to live after him ❤️ #Chopin #Music #Composition #Piano #Sheet

Some of you already know my computer hasn't really been working for the longest time... They finally fixed it, so I've been downloading VSTs for a few days. It's a slow process. However, I have to try out the VSTs, just to get a feel. Here's one of my first test with my fixed computer! Enjoy!

Have been writing a lot of piano music lately. The composer Peter Lyne asked me to take a closer look at Chopin’s Ballade No. 1, after seeing my work. There are passages in Chopins music where, upon hearing them, I feel like I just want to play piano, nothing else. Practice every day ❤️💪
