It's time to cap football ticket prices in Scotland. Caps are already common in European competitions and the English Premiership. With 71% saying traditional supporters are being priced out, there's no reason for Scotland not to do it too. Football belongs to the fans.

5 years ago I decided to install a lawn, driveway & picket fence in our front garden. This photo box reminder is giving me some serious motivation to embark upon another DIY project

A blast from the past in the Hielan Jessie (Gallowgate) after the Celtic match on Sunday. Many a time I caught the no 62 bus to Parkhead when I lived in Glasgow

ScotRail’s train service, *renationalised* in 2022 by the Scottish Government, has the lowest cancellation level in the UK - just 2% compared with a UK average of 3.3%. That means a train elsewhere in the UK is +65% more likely to be cancelled.

There is a thermal-label-printer at my work. Whilst it is normally used for bog-standard labelling, it can also be utilised as an outlet for creative expression within the workforce

8 years ago to the day, my wife & I visited Moscow & St Petersburg. It was only weeks after the Salisbury Poisonings but the advice from the foreign office was that it was ok to travel there. Today their advice is for no UK citizens to travel to Russia.

It was only today I noticed that there's now a Brompton Bike Hire Station in Stornoway (basically a vending machine for folding bikes).

I took this photo in Tokyo in 2017. These ladies were celebrating hanami, which means "flower viewing". A centuries-old tradition that takes place in the spring when the cherry blossom trees start to flower 🌸
