first time watching all of a non-airing anime in nearly two years let's go

i read a bit of both the LN and manga while watching this and straight-up it is crazy how much Ueno's direction elevated good-but-nothing-amazing source material and, i think the anime is better for ending where it did and likely not adapting any more. an open-ended but emotionally complete story

the frequent internal struggle of me, when friend(s) haven't seen or responded to a message, wanting to poke at them elsewhere for a reply vs me, who lives in constant fear of annoying my friends & making them avoid me, telling myself I shouldn't bother them when I've put the ball in their court
