Never read a Colleen Hoover book, & was hesitant to when recommended Verity, but wow was it good. Started the book Tuesday, 09/09, & finished it today. I just couldn’t put it down & it had me at the edge of my seat. I wonder if she has any other thrillers cause this pleasantly surprised me.

This book can be hard to follow. One moment Offred is explaining a situation, the next she is reliving a memory, and there is no identification of when it happens. No italicizing or change of font. It just happens. Also, When she’s reliving conversations there are no quotation marks. #booksky
