I... started a substack! Each month, I'll quit a piece of tech for its more archaic counterpart. In between, I'll be exploring the indie web and all things neo-luddite :) Follow my vow of digital chastity:

"When I played the dial-up jingle out loud in a coffee shop (accidentally), I felt a scattered wave of winces, like a frequency only older folks could hear."

Yesterday I found a manuscript I wrote 40 years ago Typed on an IBM selectric, only 1 copy (odd pages & a few chapters were all I had left) Believed I mistakenly threw it out late 80’s For decades this belief pissed me off considerably, so much work I can’t contain my excitement & had to share

My WIRED feature debut in print! Timely, since the world seems to be ending I've been carrying this (beat up) tote for a decade, so to see my byline next to those whom I've read all these years is a real treat :') Special thanks
