Reed A mysterious teen following the heroes around. He claims to be an aspiring historian, but there’s always a sense that he’s hiding something. Meant as a recurring character in a series of RPGs.

The Game Awards allowing DLCs and Expansions is a bit weird but I’m mostly OK with it. I’ve played some expansions that stand mostly on their own and even surpass the base game in some ways, Torna and Echoes of the Eye are some great examples. Including seasons is weird though, not a fan of that.

Tama The leader of a mysterious group striving to remake the world into what it once was. Meant as the antagonist of the first in a series of RPGs.

Lanae The bright and optimistic new recruit of the Heroes for Hire who can't figure out what weapon to use. Conceived as the deuteragonist of a webcomic or animated show.

Phoebe (and Pandora) An anxious girl with a ruthless split personality on the run from the government. Meant as the deuteragonist in the second in a series of RPGs.

Brad Ray's much cooler veteran older brother who wears his heart on his sleeve. Meant as the deuteragonist in the first in a series of RPGs.

Max Stubborn, smarmy, and spiteful, he runs a "Heroes for Hire" business with some friends in an attempt to make it big. Meant as the protagonist of a webcomic or animated show.

Stella A seemingly crazed anarchist with little regard for herself. Conceived as one of two protagonists in the third in a series of RPGs.

Morgan The well-meaning but deeply troubled prince of a dying empire. Meant as one of two protagonists of the third in a series of RPGs.

Clover An outgoing thief with a lucky streak who happens upon knives with the power of wind. Meant as the protagonist of the second in a series of RPGs.

Ray A quiet teen with a fire hidden in his heart that becomes literal. Meant as the protagonist of the first of a series of RPGs.
