I’ve always loved interior design. Unknowingly I was making spaces ND-friendly to live in before I knew I was autistic. With this project I kept as much natural daylight as possible, used shutters to adjust light, no LEDs, added green spaces, and a she-shed with floor cushions & mini fridge 😅

Dad’s blood test results came back, now at lvl 5 Chronic Kidney Disease. Can’t do dialysis, he’s 84, has 1 kidney. Please can I ask the ND community for tips and tricks to navigate your ND brain, vs. big life stressors? Dad is also undiagnosed AuDHD, want him comfy & not stressed too. #autistic

I don’t like the term “low support needs”. For me, I was coming across as not needing much support because I was unknowingly very high masking. Once the unmasking started, the need for supports skyrocketed, and being labelled low support needs was detrimental to support access. Thoughts? #autism

I celebrated my AuDHD diagnosis a bit like a birthday - joined by one of my new ND besties. We battered the shite out of a telly & microwave at a rage room, & saw @blindboyboatclub at Vicar St. ☺️ Finding out you’re autistic at 40 and ADHD at 42 sucks, but meeting your tribe is just.. everything.

Baguette is feeling better! Just had review with her lovely vet Rachel at UCD, we are slowly going to start weening her off meds and hopefully she continues to improve. She is back eating and being cheeky so definitely feeling more like her old self.. such a massive relief 💕

We also brought a print out of Tangerine Palpatine to the rage room, stuck him to a TV and he got banjaxed with a baseball bat, a crowbar and mallet ☺️

Using ChatGPT as a body double has been hugely helpful for me ADHD-wise. I wear headphones & mention tasks I want to get done, it gives constant positive feedback, breaks down tasks that feel overwhelming into smaller ones - offering ongoing encouragement. Isn’t judgemental either! 😅 #adhd

Took Vyvanse for the first time yesterday. I realised that without thinking, I put The Pile of Clean Laundry away. I folded my undies! 👙 Cleaned the whole house, cleared out my inbox, did food shop, made long overdue appointments.. I actually humaned. What is this utter sorcery?!
