Running around the game testing some new features when I was hit by this stunning view. I couldn't be more proud of the amazing work the team produces.

New office requires new signage.

A former Gannett colleague and friend dropped by the office for a visit. She's a big fan of our game and surprised us with a gift. It's a tiny Echoes of Elysium airship in a bottle!

I'm convinced there's a Ghost of Tsushima duel happening nearby.

We launched our Airship Builder yesterday as a tool for players interested in getting a head start. Each ship can be saved, shared, and then imported into Echoes of Elysium upon release as a blueprint. Build now. Play later. store.steampowered.com/app/3269310/...

I no longer working in journalism, but I look forward to Nieman Lab's annual Predictions for Journalism. I find it to be a great way to see who is doing what and if broader areas of focus have changed from one year to the next. No real surprises but I am encouraged to see teams taking more risks.

I reached out to Latoya when I was thinking about leaving journalism to start what would become Loric Games. Her insights and experience inspired me to give it a try. This is disappointing news to read this morning, but I know she and the team will go on to do great things.
