I HATE climate change. Yesterday this yearling walked past my home. While it is normal to be kicked out of the family group by now, this precious bear, who was obviously terrified, should be tucked up cozy in a den surrounded by snow. Instead, all we have to offer is dirt and dried pine needles.

I want to thank my 188 followers! It feels like only yesterday we were at the Taos No Kings protest and I had to explain to my partner that 43 followers were not a lot of followers. That actually, with only 43 followers, I was still in the “might be a troll” category. #photography

The End

This is the day I want to remember in the cold of December. The weather was so perfect it inspired sensations not normally felt, so I laid in the grass, smelt the Earth, felt the sun, listened to the silence, and lingered in the gratitude. #photography

As the saying goes, humans progressed out of the stone age because no one owned the stones. Soon snow will cover all the stones and Ember will be chasing bouncy balls. She may be a quadruped, but even my dog knows that once something can be purchased, we had best have enough for everyone. #dogs

October 27 - A few stubborn leaves refuse to leave their aspen tree and the grass is brown. The autumn dream is over.

October 20 - Some dogs are stick dogs other dogs are rock dogs. Which dog is your dog? #dogs

October 4, 2025 - The aspens still have their autumn color, but with every gust of wind, the golden leaves spiral to the ground. Today, the Palo Flechado hiking trail is hidden under golden leaves. It is beautiful, but also a sign that the end is near. #photography
