After 3 years of having a standing desk for gaming, I’m finally setting it up today. I told my wife I would eventually set it up. It just took 3 years.

One thing I’ve learned in the last 2 weeks while updating my streaming setup is always keep the original boxes and packaging of your PCs and other important things like mixers or consoles. I haven’t used them for 5 years but they’ve been extremely helpful moving things around.

I really had no idea how insane of a pull Dying Light the Beast would have on TikTok Live. Last few streams have hit 300-500 CCV and just now with 1.3K viewers while on the final mission and boss. One of my best playthroughs in a LONG time on there.

YouTube’s new Ask feature might be my favorite update in a while. The Summarize the Video option makes it so much easier to follow along, jump between timestamps, and honestly just keeps me way more engaged with videos.

Follow up from my last tweet. The other week I tried finding a solid handyman and it took 6 attempts before I finally got one that replied to my email, scheduled, and called to confirm. All while I’m just trying to support local spots instead of going with a chain or megacorp.

I know I usually just talk games here but I gotta rant. Been trying to get house work done and 9/10 times I email a place they want to call to go over the same thing. I don’t mind calling but when it’s 3–4 places for quotes it really adds up. I’m trying to save us both time lol

I really loved Ghost of Tsushima but for the first time in a long time I’m debating just waiting for Ghost of Yotei to hit PC. With so many games out, playing a compromised version on PS5 feels like a tougher ask. I’ll absolutely play it at some point though.

It’s been awesome seeing how much support Dying Light The Beast is getting. Steam player counts went way beyond what I expected. Easy to forget how huge these games actually are. I can’t wait to check it out.

Skate is amazing in how messy and full of jank it is but it’s actually really fun. I’m no expert but it’s been a way better time than I expected.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Claws of Awaji has been a lot of fun to go back to for the DLC. I forgot how good Naoe stealth and Yasuke tanking through enemies feels. The story has been a pretty solid start too.

Jump Space has been such a great time jumping into early access. The roadmap is one of the most promising ones I’ve seen in a long time and the game is absolutely beautiful.

I’m loving my time with Borderlands 4. The sidequests are amazing, some even better than the main story. They’re quick, fun, and perfect for leveling. I usually only do maybe 30% of sidequests in most games but with BL4 I’ve done every single one I’ve found and it’s been a blast.

So many games dropping this week and not enough time. Still deep in Borderlands 4 but tomorrow is Skate early access, AC Shadows DLC, and Superhero Simulator. Then later this week Dying Light The Beast and Jump Space hit early access. It’s about to get wild.

Recently I’ve been recording 1 hour of games I just want to try without dedicating a full stream. I figured maybe they’d get 1K views at most, but a few days later they’re now some of my top videos this month. You really never know what will hit. Play what you enjoy.

We really need to normalize DLCs coming with a little tutorial refresher for the basics. It’s always tough jumping back into a game months later like how do I dodge again? A quick reminder would make the return so much smoother.

Finished Lost Soul Aside today and what a fun combat ride. The story was fine but the gameplay just kept giving. Highly recommend it for any Final Fantasy or DMC fans. It is over the top and a really solid time.

Lost Soul Aside feels like another game that might have started as a soulslike before pivoting to action combat. No difficulty settings but if you keep failing a boss you get an item that lowers damage taken and boosts your damage which is a really cool balance.

I need the combat director of Lost Soul Aside and the world building director of Hell is Us to team up on a game. They are complete opposites but both are great fun in their own ways.

First 4 hours of Lost Soul Aside down and it’s definitely interesting. The story is kinda all over the place but I get what they’re going for. The combat though is pure fun and very FF16 style. PC has been smooth too despite what reviews said.

Earlier this year I decided to start a 2nd no commentary channel and it’s pretty much been dead ever since. Last week I decided to start posting the same short son my main channel on this one as a test. Turns out it was a success.

I usually like some hand holding in games but Hell is Us nails the balance. No quest markers or guides yet everything you learn is well noted and easy to follow. The trickiest part is the good deed quests which can be tough to figure out.

I really feel like Hell is Us started as a soulslike at its core, but I’m glad it has difficulty options. Combat isn’t perfect but it’s still really fun. Kinda reminds me of the Jedi games in a way.

Hell is Us doesn’t hold back at all. Constant death, civilian casualties, war crimes and more hit hard. What makes it worse is failing a good deed quest and realizing the cost of it. Brutal stuff.

No Mans Sky getting ship building and full ship exploration is such a nice surprise. I gotta go back to it soon.

Lost Soul Aside still feels like a mystery to me but if time permits around Metal Gear Solid Δ I’d love to dive in. And with Hell is Us dropping next week the lineup just keeps getting busier.

What a day for games. Metal Gear Solid Δ Snake Eater drops, Gears of War Reloaded released, and Helldivers 2 gets an ODST crossover. The wild part? The next two weeks only get even crazier.

There were way more Easter eggs in Mafia The Old Country than I realized. Sam from Mafia 1 being Luca’s son, Giuseppe from Mafia 2 showing up in Sicily, and even a file mentioning young Don Salieri. Wild stuff I totally missed.

Gotham Knights is honestly such a fun game especially when running coop with at least one other person. It still has its issues but overall it’s been a really enjoyable time.

I’ve been wanting to replay Mafia 2 for a few years now and was just looking for something to keep me busy Friday/Saturday. Today is officially 15 years since it launched. I had no idea.

Just wrapped up Mafia 2 again and man the story of Vito and Joe is still such a good one. I can’t believe it just ends like that. Such a great time revisiting it.

Always find it funny when I’m playing a game I’m really enjoying and someone in chat goes “X game looks better.” The best part about loving all kinds of games is getting to enjoy everything.

I’ve always tried to get into Critical Role since campaign 2 but never stuck with it. This time I’m going all in on campaign 4 and keeping pace with the storylines.

Hell Let Loose Vietnam is going to remind me so much of Battlefield Vietnam days. Looking forward to it in 2026!

If a LEGO Batman game is the closest thing we’re getting to a new Batman Arkham game I will absolutely take it. Looks like a solid fun time.

Man I miss JoinCombo. It would auto cut and format my clips into short form content as the stream was happening and be ready to download the second I ended. Every other option I’ve tried now needs me to manually select and convert clips. Nothing comes close.

I’m not really big into K-pop but last night I watched K-Pop Demon Hunters and it was genuinely such a good time. The music, animation, comedy, and action were all way better than I expected.

Lately I’ve been streaming earlier and earlier, and I honestly love starting my day this way. 5 years ago I’d call myself crazy for waking up at 6am, but pushing myself to go live before creators I admire keeps me honest. It’s been great so far.

Hopped back into MTG Arena for the first time in a while during the Final Fantasy crossover and loved it. Really wish there was a Final Fantasy only mode and I missed out on a lot of the draft events. #MTGArenaStats
