I want to addend this by saying, for most levels of play, as long as your comp has a gameplan your losses are likely due to midgame decisions. Yes, different comps influence the game. No, you aren’t losing on weapon select by going no cooler or going ttek over vshot in Low Ink. #compsplatoon

dying is bad it doesn't matter if you were distracting people it doesn't matter if you were coolered do things without dying jump out or disengage sooner don't do things where you have to die in the process dying is bad unless you like gambling, then go ahead gamble on your teammates' success

I think generally glamshot is going to be worse than TTek/VShot (which are just worse than VSplash), but it's going to have a niche as an aggressive short range weapon. Burst bomb + a continuation special is everything shot needed to fight in the current meta

A really interesting part of game sense/vod reviews is frameworks/patterns. It's so hard to understand what you're doing wrong until you find the pattern, and then it's obvious every time it happens. A lot of improvement comes down to just finding the patterns, which is wh- oh my god the word count

Don't forget to love the game. To get good you're going to reduce it down to its bare components and grind countless matches. It will stop being new and novel. You will suffer demoralizing losses/loss streaks. You *need* to love the game in order to be good at it or there'll be no reason not to quit
