For so many years, I specifically bought only appliances and lighting that brand new bragged as energy efficient, promising to cut electricity cost and use to impressive lower levels. I also reduced use mindfully. Yet, my electricity bill has skyrocketed. Use smarter, use less, pay more. WTF
