I don't think I'll be finishing the pair of socks I was going to gift for this upcoming winter holiday. I burned the hell out of my hand after smashing a pointer finger and knitting is impossible Oh well. Maybe I'll gift them late 😂😅🧶

We're about half way through this snow storm and there is about 5 1/2 inches of snow on the ground. I predict it will stall at around 9 inches.

14 1/2 hours of cooking. One smashed fingertip Three fingers burned My back is screaming. Everything hurts. I'll eat after I am horizontal for at least 30 min 😅😂

I don't do "Thanksgiving". But I definitely enjoy Gluttony Day! I cook a ridiculous amount of food. No family. No friends (I don't have any where I live now). Just me, and if my roommate feels like eating some. Sounds mildly sad, but I know for sure I won't get sick! (food allergies)

Oh no... Aldi has the Turkey and Stuffing flavored potato chips again.... I'm going to need to go get about 73 bags If you haven't tried them, you absolutely should. I have to force myself to not devour an entire bag in one sitting 😅😂

When I am not feeling super nice I make 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies. 1 egg, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of peanut butter. Roll into balls, smush them with the heel of your hand, then criss cross with a fork. 10-12 min at 350°

One of my grocery orders today was messed up, and the other missed his exit, got lost, then tried to deliver to the wrong building (while I sent multiple messages that were ignored). Ugh. And then was rude to ME when he finally delivered! And my eggs were broken. Ugh.

#perimenopause is wild. Like, emotionally, I can't figure out if I'm absolutely enraged or so sad I could burst into sobbing tears at any moment. Also my feet are ice cold but my torso is burning up. So I can't cool down and I can't warm up. Heating pad on my feet and an ice pack on my neck? 😅

I just watched a video of someone making oatmeal for their family. They put the oats in a bowl, added hot water. Let it sit until it was thick enough to eat it with a fork, and then plopped a spoon of peanut butter on top. Like... Um... Ew? Do people enjoy this? I can't understand.

I think a lot of people underestimate the importance of spices. That and/or they were never taught how to use them. I made chicken burrito bowls night before last. Some of the leftovers stayed Mexican just different spices added, tonight they became curry. The last bit will be fried rice tomorrow 😁

The worst part? After getting a couple of inches of the pattern knitted, I kinda hate it. It takes FOREVER just to knit one row. I think its over complicated* for no reason.

Note to knitters that may see my posts: I often don't think to add my yarn or pattern for a couple of reasons. I don't use fancy yarn. Ever. If it's a worsted it's an acrylic yarn, and if it's a sock then it's whatever cheapy wool blend that I found on sale. 1/2
