Because I didn't Lent hard enough . . . I just re-learned that the synoptic Gospels are read in their entirety during Holy Week according to the Typikon (during the little offices of the Hours in the Byzantine churches), as well as the Gospel of John up until "Now is the Son of Man glorified . . .
