A few years back the HNIC on-air personalities were on strike so games were broadcast with just in-arena mics, no commentary. It was EXCELLENT. I’d 100% pay for a stream with no ads, no play-by-play, just hockey.

My hockey feed is currently 1/3 (understandable) complaints about Vegas signing Carter Hart, 1/3 (yay you!) excitement about a gay TV romance, and 1/3 (what I’m looking for) actual hockey content.

That’s how I feel about Red Notice. What’s not to like? Everyone’s gorgeous. Everyone’s charming. The set pieces are entertaining. The script is thin but the pop culture references are loads of fun. Is it worthy of analysis in film history grad classes? No. But dang it’s good popcorn fodder.

Saw Sarah McLachlan with a few dozen people at the Arts Club Cabaret on Granville Island yeeeeeears ago. Very intimate set. Also fortunate enough to be at her VH1 Storytellers taping in California in 1998. Sat on the floor maybe two metres from the stage. Magical.

Saw Bob Dylan and a shithot band of stellar session musicians at whatever 86 Street was called five owners later. The Rage, was it? Maybe 700 or 800 people there. Fantastic set, and Bob was in a gleeful, goofy mood that night. Great show.
