Safe standing has been STH-only since it came in â initially to allow STHs to move in, and then after that window closed as the club monitored its introduction. Itâs always been important to allow single ticket sales for any available spaces â and home games after tonightâs game will do this.

The new Safe Standing area opens today at last, over 34 years since the last standing tickets on the Kop were sold. The area gives fans a choice to stand at games with the clubâs blessing, and the hope is that this will also add to the atmosphere for the benefit of all at the ground

Last chance before Saturday for fans considering a move into or out of the new Safe Standing area to come and take a look at the area and view from specific seats theyâre considering. For fans moving out, worth looking at the seats available vs Saints in KM1-KM4 before arriving to then view these

A good bit of the opening statement from the new owners on the importance of the fans. While there are lots of potential areas to invest in, there is too a real opportunity here to invest in the fans and look at ways to enhance the atmosphere. Safe standing has to be a part of that investment.
