Movies I watched/rewatched this weekend. 3. Guru: AB over acts, Ratnam over directs, but Aishwarya, her face, her performance is a divine, hypnotic gift. Rajiv Menon cinematography is soaked in star struck bright lights & Mallika dances like a dream.

Movies I watched: 2. Birth: Jonathan Glazer has made the sublime (Under your Skin) to the ridiculous (Zone of interest), but his Birth is mesmerising. Kidman gives her career best performance. She casts a spell from the time you lay your eyes on her. The spell stays even after the end credits.

Movies I watched/rewatched this weekend. 1. Michael Clayton: Tony Gilroy is a genius. Tilda & Tom are excellent. But Clooney is the real deal. He is the most deluxe thing in this movie, as a fixer, his performance piercing, searing, simmering with fear, angst, and smarts.

Ceasefire is good news. I pray for the innocent Pakistani ppl, but not the terrorists they support and hide. To the apologists in India - any of you SRK,AK,SK, fans try to lecture us. Remember, all complained about erosion of free speech. None thanked the Indian army for keeping them safe.

Watching Ladies vs. Ricky. How good is this cast. Ranveer and Anushaka are so good. Parineeti Chopra is so good. She would have been better than Alia as Rani. (Before you roll your eyes, just watch her. She could do all of Alias' roles as good or better).

Rajiv Menon cinematography captures every shade of the green grass, orange hues in the sky, and the rain drops on her face. Bring back movies that look like this, please....

There is a blues montage music scene bang in the middle of a movie that is shot to perfection and is infectious, audacious, devastatingly beautiful, and more than one can absorb. #sinners

The first 40 minutes (where the world building is happening) may feel like a history lesson in Jim Crow South. But once the bodies start dropping & the blood starts oozing, this is a spell binding genre mash of a movie. #sinners

Go out and watch a movie at the cinemas, go to a concert, a footy game, a comedy gig. Go with friends,family. A collective community experience of consuming arts or sports, is a joy you don't want to miss. The dancing bodies, the surfing lights, the smiling faces of strangers, it's sheer joy 😊

The blast of neon lights, the power of her music, the euphoric crowd, the wide spread infection of joy, elation, and exuberance - wondrous, rapture. In a world which is becoming insular and isolated and people are watching, listening, and playing alone on their phones. Melbourne is out & about.

Last thing on Adolescence @netflix.com The cast is excellent a towering performance by Stephen Graham,whose confusion, frustration, heartache just eats you up from the inside. Owen Cooper, is incredible as a teenager accused of murder. At once innocent &charming,yet equally menacing&unforgiving.

(1/3): Adolescence is exquisite television. @netflix.com A terrific, terrifying, harrowing show about absolute isolation, despair, and online echo chamber that leads to the radicalisation of young incels.

Adolescence is excellent television. I'm amazed at how thoughtful, ruthless, sympathetic, and watchable it is. Thinking more about it makes me dispise *Animal* & how RK & SVR capitalise on the incels hate and securities to profit off them and radicalise men. Art matters, & it galvanises grievances.
