Odd thing, I'd decided not to watch/listen to the news due to the constant praise of the ochre fascist. Now after few news-free days I find my mood has brightened - could it be listening to wall-to-wall doom & gloom is not so great for your spirit? Who knows, but the experiment will continue.

So, the short time I've been on here I've seen lots of kitties, great photos of galaxies, some amazing paintings, odd cheeky stuff & looked at the BBC News bot. Shockingly, nobody made foul comments to people they disagreed with. And people wonder why I rarely go visit the mono-letter cess pit.

Nothing beats the feeling of seeing a seed turn from a dried up scrap of life into a beautiful mature plant. Picking the tomatoes & cucumbers today reminded me of the dull & cold days of spring when I first planted them & seeing them germinate in the window propagator a few days later.
