Dumb post of the day: If #Batman The Animated Series had instead been called Batman Animated The Series then instead of the hashtag being #BTAS it could have been #BATS.

I just rewatched the delightful #Batman the animated series episode Showdown featuring #DavidWarner as Ra's al Ghul and #MalcolmMcDowell as Arcady Duvall. It only just now occurred to me this was effectively a reunion of the two actors having appeared together in the classic Time After Time. #BTAS

Given how many people are watching coverage or even the live feed of the work at the Kennedy Center it would be really nice to have some expert commentary on the work this crew is doing. For example, I'm trying to figure out why the scaffold their building is going

The Trump administration missing another legally mandated deadline in 13 minutes...

Okay, I understand we have this crew building this scaffolding. And I'm assuming it's the same crew that actually tears the letters off the building. But once the letters are on the ground and in pieces, who actually pees on them?

After a rain delay, the construction crew is finishing the last of the scaffolding before removing Trump's name from the Kennedy Center. The assembled crowd is watching and cheering wildly and applauding every time the next little bit of the scaffold is completed. It's kind of joyous to watch.

MS Now on YouTube currently has a live stream of the removal of Trump's name from the Kennedy Center. The scaffolding is going up.

The discolored patch on the back of Trump's hand isn't that large, only about the size of a dime. It looks larger because of how tiny his hands are.

I somehow got placed on a robocall spam list. I went from getting one such call every month or two to getting three or four a day. I block them as I get 'em but they all are coming from different numbers.

So #DoctorWho needs a new production company, but I'm telling you, if they announced that the next Doctor was going to be Christopher Eccleston fans would go insane.

I propose that Batman's preferred contingency is a capsule on his belt filled with miniature Kryptonians from the bottled city of #Kandor.

ONCE AGAIN I found that my phone was in "do not disturb" mode, silencing all notifications. I had not intentionally placed it in do not disturb mode. I had not even had settings open in a couple of weeks. How does this keep happening and why can't I permanently disable this feature???

Anytime I see a #SpiderMan costume I'm always fascinated by the different ways people find to wrap the web pattern around the head and neck. So often in 2D art you see it cheated in a way that doesn't work well in 3D without having your be huge gaps between the web links around the back.

I enjoyed the Christopher Nolan and Matt Reeves' Batman films, but I've had enough "grounded & realistic" takes on Batman. I'd love a version that doesn't play it for laughs but is more playful and fun. You're going to think I'm crazy but check out 2011's Cruella and imagine that as a #Batman film.

I'm extremely fond of all the series of David Suchet's #Poirot, although I am partial to the earlier seasons with Captain Hastings and Miss Lemon. But it always makes me sad to watch the slow spreading of Poirot's mustache. I like the more narrow and upturned version in the early seasons.

And then years later I find myself spending almost an entire day drawing just this one panel for an upcoming comic.

I definitely have influences on my comic art but they can be hard to spot. One of them is #MarshallRogers whose work drilled into me that backgrounds in a scene are a major part of atmosphere and storytelling.

I really loved getting to draw #StarTrek thanks to the Valentine's Day special as part of IDW's year 5 series, from a great script by Paul Cornell.

I really wish I was in a position to pitch an original #StarTrek series to somebody. TV, Comics... I'm too busy for fanfiction but I feel like this is a really strong concept that I'd love to see it out there in front of an audience.
