‼️New publication‼️ Beecham et al. recently led an IBDGC study showing that higher African ancestry in a Hispanic IBD cohort is linked to greater risk of penetrating Crohn’s disease, perianal disease, and IBD‑related surgery, and identified ancestry‑specific genetic signals at key IBD loci.
