Blackhawk #111, reading this through DC Finest and always impressed with these stories. 1st one a criminal with a flying carpet is stealing stuff but they stop that with Blackie destroying it, Blackie the mascot delivers an important message to stop a smuggling operation.

A lot happens in Zorro #1 from Alien comics. Sometimes when you read a Howard Chaykin book you are thrown into something you don't always understand but it always comes together.

Jeff Lemire is kicking ass over at DC and Fury of Firestorm is becoming one of my favorite reads. Man when you think about how powerful Firestorm can be and then see it in action in this book. Does pay respect to what has happened before with some slight tweeks.

A murder mystery with a religious cult leader is a slow burn but a really good read.

Always one of my goto reads, this one actually spiked because of a variation on the last splash page. I like the idea of getting something different with my cover B. However deep down I was a little disappointed in Maxine.

Red Roots looked cool but the story did not grab me. I enjoyed the first issue more than subsequent issues.

T-Challa is burning at the stake and manages to free himself and jump into a swamp. He has very bad burns and is rushed to the hospital. Later, he heals very quickly and goes with his reporter friends to disrupt a Klan rally. Panther is saved by the murdered girls father.

Let’s go to Marvel Con, free writing and art classes and we can learn Kung Fu

This is a weird issue, it just ends. They introduce Wind Eagle and ends with them staring at each other. This continues the fight with the Klan but never ends. In a few months they will launch Jack Kirby's Black Panther which is totally different than this series.

Yesterday did the weed Wacker and pulled weeds. Today I get to mow the grass. Still have to process two full boxes of DCBS into the system. Took Gigi for a walk already and read a few comics. Also need to record a Mike M's because I have been behind.

One of my friends posted on BlueSky how did Vandal Savage become Police Commissioner. I realized I did not know because I never finished Chips run leading into Absolute Power. Funny thing is I still don't know. Renee was commissioner then Savage breaks out of Failsafe's prison then he is.

Wrapped up Vol 1 of the Oni Biker Mice from Mars. In this one the one mice leaves the military to fight with his friends. The mice find a new leader as they fight off the dog like aliens. Going to be continued in vol 2.
