Sold my third wool sculpture leaping hare today!

Well it’s been an interesting few days. We lost power during storm Darragh and some people locally are still without power or water. It’s quite awful with lots of trees and power lines down. But this happened at the local Morrisons giving us all a good laugh!

I have the evil cough. I am a sole trader so it means everything grinds to a halt. Please be considerate: Cough into your elbow, use sanitizer and teach your kids to do the same! #CoughsandSneezesSpreadDiseases

I have a passion for fantasy makes but I get a real kick out of making realistic large wool sculptures. Just as an example these are my leaping hares. Arianwen, Melangell and Emyr. (AI backdrops but no alteration to my actual work). The first two have sold and Emyr is currently for sale.

Leaping Hare number 3 is complete! He is huge so I have named him Emyr (Cymraeg for King). Backdrop is AI but no alteration to my sculpture. All made with wool and wire. Mounted on a bit of Silver Birch.

Wool sculpting fairies for this years collection

Sad news, we will be losing our market space in Aberystwyth on 14th December. There is no more funding for the space via U.K. government. The organisation that supports us has about 1000 small businesses on their books but U.K. government prefers to spend money on forcing medication on obesity. 🤷‍♀️
