In many ways McCarthy is just a slightly better version of Marty Schottenheimer and Jeff Fisher. REALLY good reg season coach, really not so good post season coach. Only 2010 sets MM apart from the other two.

FWIW: I think it’d be great to have Mike McCarthy as coach of the Bears. Him teaching Caleb Williams could make Williams the generational talent he entered the draft as. Plus a rebuilding team with high hopes. And MM isn’t getting younger, may only have one more HC gig left in him. I say go for it
