A big day in the #NRL and a big day for #rugbyleague in general. The sport's biggest competition adds a PNG side that, due to the tax breaks, will offer a competitive side from the start in 2028. With the Bears and potentially Orcas to follow, 20 teams could be a reality by the end of the decade!

Interesting move to go with Wigan v Leigh to lead the 2025 #SuperLeague season. Leopards will be much-changed next year and probably not ready for a contest at that scale in Round One. Salford v St Helens is a great matchup given how their respective seasons ended! #RugbyLeague
