Not sure when I'll be able to see The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, but I know it won't be tomorrow. So I'll be taking a break from social media until then.

I thought we were past the era where studios revealed every card in their movies' hand before they released.

With so many legacy characters appearing in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie I have to ask, why no Toadsworth?

Am I crazy, or does Pokémon Winds and Waves look...good? The graphics are nice, I like the new art style, and the game looks to be running fine even if it's still 30fps.

My biggest questions for the FireRed and LeafGreen rerelease are will they fix the bugs like the Roaming Roar glitch and will they fix up Altering Cave so it does what it was meant to do?

Do people really want a definitive edition of Xenoblade 2 over a Switch 2 edition/upgrade? Personally I'd rather not spend $70-$100 for a game I already have and can play on the Switch 2 already.

I've been slowly getting back into drawing for the past month. I don't have anything to post at the moment, but it feels good to pick up the pen and tablet again.

This has been quite a week for fans of Nintendo and Lego.

I've known this for a while, but today really cemented the fact Lego (much like Pokémon funnily enough) is really capitalizing on nostalgia to sell us these expensive sets.

Hey, everyone. It's been a while since I posted anything on here let alone art. Just letting you know I'm still alive. Just haven't had anything interesting or engaging to say for the last how many days it's been.

After playing the Kirby Air Riders: Global Test Ride for the past few weekends, I can safely say this game's not for me.

The original title of the movie was "The Super Mario Galaxy + Odyssey + Wonder Movie", but they had to cut it down for marketing purposes.

The New Horizons update's a nice surprise and the QoL upgrades look nice enough to get me to go back to my island for a while. It's definitely not enough for me to get the Switch 2 upgrade.

The fact Weird Al has never appeared on an episode of Sesame Street is one of society's greatest failures that needs to be rectified one day.

How are they gonna fix all the bugs in Silksong without completely destroying the game?

Mega Victreebel's design speaks to me as someone who loved playing with giant water balloons as a kid.

Watching Sakurai during the Kirby Air Riders Direct was a treat. I love his enthusiasm and sense of humor, and he clearly knows the fans of this game.

After a month of searching, and another month of not having the time, I'm finally ready to play my Switch 2.

If the Z-A starters do get mega evolutions (which I’m 99% sure they will), my only hope is Mega Feraligatr looks cool.

I miss opening real packs of Pokémon cards. Yeah TCG Pocket scratches that itch a little, but it's not the same. Plus I'm getting bored/frustrated with the app.

Wasn't able to get a Switch 2 today. I don't mind waiting a little longer to get it, and I'm happy to see everyone who did get it is having fun.

My original plan was to take the day off tomorrow and get a Switch 2 at midnight, but things came up and now I have to hope I can find one after work tomorrow. Plus there's supposedly severe weather coming in and I don't wanna deal with that.

Funny how a silly game about squids has had such an impact on me from the people I've met to the experiences I've had. Happy 10th Anniversary to Splatoon! I'm so happy to have you in my life.

Apparently there was a strong storm last night which lead to a tornado warning with sirens going off in my area, and I slept through the whole thing.

After some digging, I have confirmed my Switch 2 preorder was cancelled. Guess the only thing I can do now is hope there's another preorder window or just wait until launch day to try and find one.

Update: I went to check out my order status and Target says it has been cancelled, but the payment was still taken. I'm gonna do some digging and see if I can get a definitive answer.

Here’s my Switch 2 preorder story. I was on the Target site at midnight ready to go. Had to deal with site problems, but I eventually placed my preorder. I immediately get an email back saying it was cancelled. Well great, looks like I lost sleep for nothing.

Finally watched the Mario Kart World Direct. I'm a bit mixed on the art style, but it's overall good. The trick system looks fun and could open the door for some crazy routes. Still not sure if it's worth the $80 price tag.

I saw A Minecraft Movie for my birthday. It's just as stupid and bad as everyone says it is and I unfortunately didn't have the theater experience some people did on opening weekend, but I still enjoyed it.

Of course I'd get sick a day before my birthday.

Nintendo really cut out Totaka's Song from the one Luigi's Mansion track on their music app, huh.

Now that things have calmed down, I just wanna give my thoughts on the Switch 2. Overall the system sounds pretty good even though a lot of its new features have been standard with other consoles for the last few years.

Finally got around to watching the Switch 2 Direct and…wow.

Tomorrow might be the first time I won't be able to watch a Nintendo Direct live and of course it's had to be the most important ones.

Today's Direct was overall ok. Pretty much what I expected considering the Switch 2 Direct is next week. Metroid Prime 4's looking great, and I'm happy we're getting a new Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi Life.

The Day the Earth Blew Up is such a fun and charming movie; not to mention fantastically animated. It a shame it's doing poorly at the box office because of how awful the marketing for it was.

Man I really wanted to have something out for Mario Day especially since it's his 40th anniversary, but I've been so busy with other stuff that I haven't had time make anything.

I don't think anyone was expecting the Legends Z-A starters to be what they are, but I think it's a good group regardless. Although I do have a clear choice out of the three unlike with Legends Arceus.

Legends Z-A looks promising from the trailer. Right off the bat, the art style’s a major step up from Scarlet and Violet and dare I say it’s the best looking mainline Pokémon game on the Switch.
