New sketchbook. New doodles of Ren.

I'm thinking about buying a new printer and I was wondering which is better. Epson or Canon printer. I want a good printing quality. And one with a scanner as well. And recs?

When i was in the hospital recently i read the notes my psychiatrist wrote and she wrote that when i speak, I have a soft and sad tone to it and a flat affect. like thanks for point out my voice sounds sad and that i have a flat affect.

though, i do get folks who are teachers that buy my zines and say theyre going to show their class and i feel so honored but at the same time, I hope they dont make fun of my art. bc hs and middle school kids are burtal.....

the only time my art ever gets compliments is when i table at zine fests. like thats it....which kind of sucks bc A LOT of ppl tend to say i have a unique great style and I say Thank you! and then they just walk away. and i think, "thanks....."

like, look at these. And even my art style was on point to how i wanted it!! and these were all drawn on 6x8 sketchbooks!

man i really miss reading and studying paul popes art. like I loved inking traditionally and actually became really good at it but then....severe mental illness made my art regress so much that its hard to ink like i used to. imiss inking traditionally.

Hospital? Who me? Nah, Im good.

Im past that point of sleep deprivation where instead of being SO tired, I am now full of energy and adrenaline 🫡

I dont know why I keep posting. Or even posting my art. It doesn't matter. It doesn't exist.

I have barely slept the last couple days its hard to focus at work. I keep blacking out at work. Here's are more collages.

i had an idea about a comic last night while half asleep and it was so cool. It was surrounding halloween and each character was having visions of the world ending and they came together to stop it from ending but instead one of them turned out to be the end of the world itself.

every time an evil freak dies, the most tepid people on earth ask how anyone could celebrate death and violence, how people can act so inhuman. do you think I want to live in a world where this is what it takes for me to feel relief or a sense of justice? why don't you ask who took my humanity.

Let's talk about weird art. Weird art, gross art, sexual art, violent art, all has its place and belongs. And you really need to stop acting like the existence of uncomfortable themes equals harm. That kind of censorship, which IS what that is, only serves to silence and abuse people.

got bored yesterday and drew a self portrait.
