"That thing isn't human, it isn't me, I'm human." Coretown character-casting spotlight: The Mouse! The Mouse, one of the masked, is what people would describe as private. They keep to their own projects, have their own objective. They seem to have been working on something deep in the forest.

"It doesn't want to hurt you, it just doesn't know how not to." Coretown character-casting spotlight: Mouse! Mouse, a wandering child, is what many would note as odd. They speak in the third-person, their mask doesn't seem to fit right. They seem to be able to perceive, or hear, something greater.

"This is my hotel. Mine." Coretown character-casting spotlight: Bill Harrison! Bill Harrison, Head of Security, is what many would describe as dependable. Their job is to protect the residents of the Heart Haven Hotel. Recently, people have been noticing how nervous Bill is, a bit too "on edge".

"There isn't a pattern, no reason, only entropy." Coretown character-casting spotlight: Finn Young! Finn Young, a Junior Scientist, is what many would describe as a cautious person, for themselves and Alice. They are distressed at every inconvenience, which makes their friendship with Alice odd.
