More boards talk! I also had the privilege of storyboarding the song Losing Streak, sung by the incomparable Blake Roman. This song is BEAUTIFUL and his voice is just insane, so I was REALLY excited to get to do this one!

It's time for more boarding talk! So I had the pleasure of storyboarding the song Love in a Bottle for Hazbin Hotel! Firstly, it was a total honor to get to storyboard something for a song sung by Keith David. The man has SUCH a killer voice. Bucket list item for sure haha.

Things Charlie managed to do between Episodes 2 and 5: ・Scream. ・Completely destroy Angel Dust’s trust in her (and physically hurt him, too. Did you see him get slammed into that sign during the song?). ・Nearly kill Husk. ・Ignore her girlfriend’s warnings and mess up on a live broadcast.

#Hazbinhotels2spoiler I love how Husk sees his own worth as being lower than others’. The thought of someone throwing themselves in harm’s way for him—especially Angel—must’ve messed him up inside.

Fun fact: “I’ll fuckin’ spank you” was an improv from Keith 😂 I kept it because it killed me, but also because it felt like a natural grasp for a non threatening-threat. It’s an old school go-to scold. So I felt it worked in character!

I’m a little disappointed in Charlie. If she’d been paying more attention to Angel, she never would have let Vox and Velvette stay there, even temporarily.

I love how Angel is willing to take part in Charlie’s therapy. It means he’s found people he can trust—and he’s finally starting to show his true self. I’m sure everyone around him is proud of him. He truly deserves all the happiness in the world!

Angel’s got such a strong big-brother vibe. He’s always been gentle, but now he’s stopped hiding it—and it’s beautiful to see. Angel… you’ve come so far.
