Beautiful morning run today, cool breeze and a bit of sun, blossom on the trees. Third weekend running my new half marathon route, slowly getting quicker but legs still feel tired around the 10 mile mark. Need to keep this up every week to build my stamina.

Email came through to say the new motherboard I pre-ordered is on its way to me, I should probably buy a CPU to go in it. Thankfully I'm swapping out the RAM and storage from my current system, so I don't need to sell my house to buy those.

Race went well today, got it done just inside of 2 hours. It was a cold morning, and very windy along the coast. Six months ago I was much fitter but I'm happy with how things went today. It's always a confidence boost to get a race done 🙌

First race of the year tomorrow 🙌 The past couple of months I've had knee issues and really had to cut down my mileage, not ideal when training for a half marathon. I spent a lot of time in the gym building up my strength to help the knee but lost a lot fitness.

Beautiful sunny morning for a run 😎 I ran the Henham 10k today, another slowish time for me but intended to take it easy. It was very congested at the start, with lots of muddy slippery terrain. Norwich half marathon in two weeks, last big race of the year 🙌

Price of ram is a bit crazy right now. I needed a 16gb DDR4 kit, it cost almost as much as a 32gb kit cost a couple of years ago. I guess lots of people are upgrading their systems due to the Windows 10 eol.

Great race this morning at Felixstowe for the Richard Bennett 10 mile. The sun was out and the wind wasn't too strong, I managed to get it done 10 minutes quicker than last year 🙌 Ipswich half next Sunday!

Super happy with the race this morning. The sun came out and there was a lovely breeze along the coast. Good time for me and guessing I finished in the top 30% or so.

Out in Jersey this weekend and I'm running a charity 10k to support Jersey Hospice Care, race day tomorrow. Went out for a quick run this morning and must've over did it a bit, my heart rate doesn't usually go this high.

I hate eBay listings where the seller has used the AI assistant to write the description for them. If you're too lazy to string together a couple of sentences, to tell me about what you're selling, then I'm going to bet you can't be bothered to clean and package it nicely before sending.

I ran another local 10k (almost) race this morning. The Aldeburgh Regatta mini marathon. The recent drop in temperature was welcome, tricky terrain for this one, some time on the beach running on stones and sand.

I ran around a Motorsport track Wednesday evening, the Run Snetterton 10k race. A very smooth and flat course, recommended if you want to get a PB.

I took a few seconds off of my 1 km and 1 mile records this morning. Running fast over a short distance feels really hard for me, I don't like the high intensity. It will help improve those long run times, so worth the effort.
