My wife cracked open the car window when driving home from school with the teen, and I thought it was because we had a nice spring day here today but really it was because of teen boy smell

Clients come first but I don't have time to read/edit any of their manuscripts before heading out for spring break tomorrow, so I'm excited to be back in my inbox today, reviewing pitches and early pages from the fall!

Today is “sending editors nudges” day. I hate sending nudges 🫠

After a long day of editing at my computer, I just went to change into my pajamas to go to bed and realized I’m already/still wearing them. Saving time at bed time 🙌

My all day today (and tomorrow) since I have to finish this for book club on Monday and then start (and finish) the book for book club on Tuesday and then start (and finish) the book for book club on Thursday

Getting some good editing done today since I’ll be on an all-day field trip tomorrow (that I’d expected to be an hour and half or so).

Last 2 clients I signed have PARADISE in their title, the 2 manuscripts I'm currently editing both have a character named Sebastian, 2 read aloud family books in a row have a main character named Turtle. So much twinning happening!

Now that I know my DVR has enough room for the last of the Olympics, I can focus on the 2 proposals I’m trying to get out soon (and those final edits), the 2 new client manuscripts in my inbox (1 more coming soon), and the 3 books I need to read for book groups next week 😬😬😬😬

Fast forwarding through ski jumping tonight to get to the pairs free skate so my DVR doesn’t explode

Tonight it’s the men’s xc 7.5km relay and then speed skating and maybe some slopestyle might be after that? (Still on early Sunday coverage)

Olympics on the back burner as we are editing today!

Tonight it was book group and now it’s the men’s free skate

Tonight it’s Klaebo in the men’s xc 10 k, then the women’s snowboard cross, then bed

I’m watching the women’s snowboarding halfpipe final and I think it’d be cool if they played whatever music the athletes are listening to so we can hear what amps them up

Tonight it’s Jessie Diggins in the individual xc skiing 10k, then snowboard cross and then bed
