Local Greens were among the 250 people who joined this counter protest against the anti-asylum seeker demonstration at Ibis Hotel #Gloucester yesterday. The counter protesters hugely outnumbered the demonstrators, and one hotel guest even came out to thank the counterprotest for the support💚

Israel are planning to force Gaza's population into an 'internment camp' in Rafah. As if any more evidence of Israel's ethnic cleansing were needed... The Government must act now to protect Palestinian lives and prevent any further atrocities.

The use of the Terrorism Act to proscribe Palestine Action is disproportionate and sets a dangerous precedent.

I supported an amendment to the Employment Rights Bill calling for a review into the parental leave system and I welcome this announcement. The current system is not working for parents or employers.
