WOW on Pretti's denial of medical treatment "I informed the ICE agents that I am a physician, and I asked to assess the victim. At first, the ICE agents wouldn't let me through. ... But none of the ICE agents who were near the victim were performing CPR, ... None of the agents were helping him."

Black beauty tomatoes still producing in January. Sun exposure makes them turn black, but they stay red on parts without direct exposure

Piennolo del Vesuvio tomato observations. A long term storage tomato, these were harvested in August and September and stored until now. Some look good on the inside still, but a few looked green/brownish. Turns out it’s because the seeds started to sprout inside!

Trump regime launched a bogus website about January 6th today. It is just amazing how these people live in an alternate reality. I don’t care how many websites they make. I know what I watched in real time.

Just a little winter basket from the garden. Picked most of the tomatoes that were almost ripe due to heavy rain in the forecast. Can’t wait to chop up the cheddar cauliflower😋

Biggest bok choy I’ve ever grown. I just threw a bunch of seeds into the garden bc they got mixed with some other brassica seeds and they’re growing in one at a time beautifully. Been trying carefully for years with no success of course 🤦🏻♀️ Lesson learned…just throw seeds randomly into garden

Some of the blood oranges r cracking (I assume due to infrequent watering…it’s in a pot). Will have to remember to water more often when hot. The eggplants and basil r looking so pretty and green beans continually coming in

BREAKING Dr. Jane Goodall has died. She was 91. It is impossible to sum up the impact she has had on our world and on science in a social media post. She lived a long and incredible life but I am devastated. Full Story:

Ugh, night critters have been eating up all the ripening tomatoes so I went and picked as many as I could. Fried green tomatoes may happen soon

The tomatoes just keep coming. The plants r starting to wind down so fall planting will be starting soon. Had to pick many of the Cuban Pepper tomatoes green as night critters have nibbled at least a dozen. Eggplant is in its third year and still producing well. And those blot peppers r just 🤩

Ever find something that looks like bird poop on ur citrus? These r caterpillars that will turn into swallowtails! Though they feed on the citrus leaves, there’s more than enough for them (albeit attacked by leaf miners 🤦🏻♀️) and hopefully I get to see when they emerge as gorgeous butterflies

More tomatoes to fill the kitchen counter. One of my favorite things about a summer garden is making my own tomato sauce and paste for the whole year! Simply tomatoes, nothing added

One of the pleasures of having a garden is that the fruits and veggies r so fresh u end up eating lots right off the vine/plant unadulterated which is about as healthy (and delicious) as it gets!
