I’ve aced Dragon Quest I and I’m going through DQII and I am so in awe of how they’ve filled both games up with character and charm while preserving both journeys somewhat intact 😭👏🏼 This is as close as it gets to a love letter, DQII in particular is simply magnificent ❤️

The series had a bit of a reputation for bland villains (with the glowing exception of Symphonia’s entire set) so they came into this one and dished out ICONS, ICONS EVERYWHERE 😂👏🏼
