🌍 At #HDCA2025 we held a consultation on the upcoming 2026 Human Development Report (HDR), bridging academia with practice and exploring how human development & capabilities can shape policy.

✨ We closed Day 1 of #HDCA2025 with the Mahbub ul Haq Lecture, delivered by Prof. Kunal Sen. His talk “The Capability Approach: Origins and Current Relevance” revisited the foundations laid by Amartya Sen, Mahbub ul Haq & Martha Nussbaum, and the role of UNU-WIDER in shaping the approach.
