It's clear the people really in charge in this country know that trump is suffering from dementia and unable to perform the functions of the presidency. No only do they know it, they welcome it. Not far from Boulder, just above Boulder Falls, is Dream Canyon, where North Boulder Creek has formed an impressive canyon. Has always been a popular spot for nudists (didn't see any today) and climbers (lots out in this beautiful fall weather).

Watched the clouds change colors tonight

Did you know that all the trees in a grove of aspens all change color at the same time, because they are all part of the same organism. An aspen grove is one of the world's largest living organisms by weight.

It a glorious time in the mountains of Colorado when the aspens turn. Also, the tourists turn out in droves to see. Pictures taken near the "ghost town" of Caribou, 20 miles west of Boulder, at about 10,000 feet elevation.

Clouds rolling in over Long's Peak and the northern Rockies. Feel the fall in the air. Hear birds all around, but don't see many from the deck, except a big clouds going up when the neighbor started mowing.

Yes, I got my flu and covid shots today.

Back in the 50s while attending CU Boulder, Robert Redford worked as a janitor at The Sink, a popular hangout on The Hill, near campus. The walls are covered with graffiti, including this picture honoring their most famous employee. (FYI, Barack Obama also signed the wall there in 2012.)

We got back from our trip, and a nice harvest was waiting for us.

Our last day on the Western Slope and we finally got some amazing Colorado weather, perfect for checking out the Colorado National Monument. It's another don't miss for visitors to our state. I took hundreds of stunning pictures, and this is just a sample.

WTH? I go off grid for a couple of days, some random right wing whacko gets murdered, and everyone goes crazy. No more talk about Epstein, troops in the street, kidnapping by ICE, Supreme Court craziness, impeachment, attacking science, etc. Come on, people, don't take your eye off the ball.
