Epic ride yesterday. 57km around the Bowland Fell. With fellow cyclists Mike and John. Starting at the Inn at Whitewell , It was a bit lumpy, we knew what we were in for, the descents were fast and furious. We stopped in Chipping for a cuppa, then pressed on back to the start at Whitewell.

Out on the @moda_bikes yesterday I spotted several mighty giant puffball mushrooms, hiding in the nettles. Some were as big as a basketballs. Picked a small specimen that could be carried. I brought it home dipped it in egg with the addition of a few spices and cooked the blighter delicious.

Scooter ride to the Lost Boys Scooter Club shindig in Sefton Park today. There was lots of great scoots and some classic cars too. Got a wee bit wet on the way back home, but not too bad.

Been out early today me and my mate Toddy, thundering down the quiet roads and some gravel lanes. Great Ride!
